Organic Seedling. Native to Mexico and Central America, Mexican Sour Gherkins aka "Cucamelons" have been gaining popularity in the United States. Crunchy with a bright lemony taste, they grow on tall, 6-8’ vines covered with lovely little leaves. The vines quickly fruit and fall to the ground when they are most ripe. They can be eaten raw, used in salsas and salads, or pickled. Drought resistant and keep long on and off the vine. Wonderful grown vertically on a trellis.
